Saudade has no English translation. It's a word that's used to describe longing, but it goes deeper than just that simple feeling. It is the depth and despair of the lack of that thing or person, whatever it may be. Saudade cannot exist without prior memory; without fondness and yet, simultaneous loss; more simply, it can't exist without some meaning or real emotion to it.

Saudade aims to capture that exact feeling through textured and solemn ambience.
